Summer time Vacation Bible School at Finate International Camp 2010
Children in Finate and 2 other villages enjoyed 4 days of summer camp presented by Kings Baptist Church mission team from the state of Kentucky in the US. Bible study fun and games were enjoyed by all. They were assisted by Mariana Sovre, local teacher and our wonderful translators Ioana Tincu Priscila, Lisa Pascu and Mihai Cornea from Baia Mare.

Romania Club Facts
Awana was first presented to a group of children at a church in Oradea Romania in 1991. A national couple, Nelu and Corina Paul, caught this vision and carried it to churches across Romania. The AWANA material was translated into the Romanian language and in 1992, with only four churches in the program at that time. There are currently 18 clubs in the AWANA program of Romania.

Director of AWANA International Romania Ben Paul comes to Camp Finate to train future leaders. Our plans are to start the program under the direction of Heather Donnelly a missionary from America who lives in Baia Mare.

We have plans to start and assist existing programs like the one at Biserica Baptista Sfanta Treime of Tg Lapus where Bel Vasile is the pastor. Brother Bel Constantin and Sisters Maria Buda and Sanda Ghete have Bible Study and singing with gypsy children in their village on Saturday’s.
